Luxury holiday homes in unique places

All our holiday villas and country houses are easy to reach by both car and public transport. Car routes are self-explanatory from the boat. You can almost always park in your own private parking space in the garden of your holiday home on Texel. If this is not the case, it is indicated under the features of the accommodation. For public transport, you can choose between the Connexxion regular service and the local transport service the Texelhopper. Both drive a certain route at fixed times, with the difference that you can also order the Texelhopper by appointment and location.

When it comes to nature, Texel is a unique piece of the Netherlands. Nowhere else in our country will you find so many different types of nature side by side. Our largest Wadden Island has no less than 40 nature reserves. Many of the holiday homes on Texel are even located in or next to these protected landscapes. Most of these areas are simply accessible. If you want to know more about the flora and fauna on Texel, a walk with a forest ranger is highly recommended. Nature excursions can be booked at Ecomare and Natuurmonumenten. For boat and walking tours on the Wadden Sea, you can visit the harbour of Oudeschild.

Considering the size of Texel, there are many places of interest. Because our Texel rental cottages are located in the area around De Koog and Den Burg, all these nice places are easy to reach by bike. For example, Ecomare is located just south of De Koog. The cosy village centre, with the beach 500 m away, is an experience in itself, as is the beachcomber's museum Flora. In Den Burg, you can spend a few enjoyable hours in the Oudheidkamer and the slightly more distant Oudeschild has a beautiful fort and picturesque fishing harbour. Eierland lighthouse and Texel Aviation Museum are also good for an exciting day out.
